Day 1 Hong Kong - Chongqing - Yangtze
Take flight from Hong Kong to Chongqing ( Airfare excluded ). Our tour guide will meet you at the airport. Then have a short visit of Chongqing city. Chongqing is located on the upper reaches of the Yangtze River and sitting on the place which links the center and western parts of China. Then transfer to the port to be on board.
Day 2 Chongqing - Fengdu - on Board (B,L,D)
Start cruising on Yangtze River in the morning. Offshore excursion to Fengdu (Ghost City ). Fengdu County is located on the northern bank of the Yangtze River, about 170KM downstream from Chongqing city.Fengdu is well known for its "Ghost City" in China. It is a must see shore excursion place on the Yangtze cruise. On board
Day 3 Yangtze River On Board (B,L,D)
Continiue to cruise on Yangtze River. Today enter the Qutang Gorge. Your Cruise ship carefully pilots its way through the narrow course. At Wushan, disembark the ship and board smaller vessels in order to explore either the Daning River (or Shennong Stream). Reboard the ship and sail through the Wu Gorge.
Day 4 Yichang - Wuhan - Xian by air (B)
Take cruise at 8:30. Shore excursion to The Three Gorges Dam. Three Gorges Dam is a Chinese hydroelectric river dam which spans the Yangtze River in Sandouping, Yichang, Hubei province, China. Arrival in Yichang atnoon and transferred to Wuhan by road and connect flight for Xian. Arrival at Xian, met and transferred to your hotel in Xian and you are at your leisure to explore the city on your own.
Day 5 Xian (B,L)
Beginning the day with a once-in-a lifetime viewing of the extraordinary 2200-year-old Terra-cotta Army of China’s First Emperor-Qin Shihuang. Three exhibition halls house the continuing excavation of am army of 7,000 terracotta soldiers and horses that guard the tomb of the First Emperor.Then visit Xian City Wall, the most complete city wall that has survived in China, as well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. Back to your hotel in Xian.
Day 6 Xian (B,L)
After breakfast, visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, one of the oldest structures in China. Big Wild Goose Pagoda is one of the Xian city’s most distinctive and outstanding landmarks, possibly the most beautiful building left in Xian today.After lunch visit Forest of Stone Steles Museum, the largest and earliest stele forest in China, now it has become Shanxi Provincial Museum. Then move on to Great Mosque. Xian Great Mosque is one of the oldest, largest and best-preserved Islamic mosque in China. Backt to your hotel in Xian.
Day 7 Xian - Beijing by air (B,L)
Take morning flight from Xian to Beijing. Arrival in Beijing,drive to Lama Temple,or Yonghegong Lamsery, located in the northeat part of Beijing City, is a renowned lama temple of the Yellow Hat Sect of Lamaism.Then experience Hutong by taking men-driving rickshaw as the basic means of transportation. Check in at your hotel in Beijing.
Day 8 Beijing (B,L)
After brekfast, visit Tian An Men Square, the largest public square in the world. Then move on to Forbidden City which was once home to the emperors for over 500 years in the Ming and Qing dynasties.After lunch, continue to visit Temple of Heaven where dynastic rulers in China used to worship the heaven. Then head to Summer Palace, a former summer resort for the royal family. Return to your hotel in Beijing.
Day 9 Beijing (B,L)
A full day excursion to Mutianyu Great Wall and Ming Tombs (Dingling). Mutianyu Great Wall once served as the northern barrier defending the capital and the imperial tombs. It is a green section of the great wall in Beijing with wide coverage vegetation.The fortifications and the Great Wall here are featured by many watchtowers on overlapping mountain ranges.Then move on to Ming Tombs are where 13 emperors of the Ming dynasty (1368-1644) were buried. You are arranged to visit Dingling, one of the 13 Ming Tombs. Back to your hotel in Beijing.
Day 10 Beijing (B)
Transfer to airport for departure.
