Day 1 Arrive in Shanghai
On your arrival at Shanghai, your tour guide will greet you and guide you to your hotel. Rest of the day is yours to relax or step out to discover Shanghai in your way.
Day 2 Shanghai (B,L)
Today start your Shanghai exploration with the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center, which chronicles Shanghai’s past, present and future. Later you will take a stroll through Yu Garden, and after get a taste of Shanghai’s local life in the Yuyuan Market, and then visit the Silk workshop, before having a stroll at the Bund and Nanjing Road.
Day 3 Shanghai-Guilin (B,L)
Take the morning flight to Guilin. Upon arrival, your guide will greet you and escort you to the hotel. After hotel check-in, you'll enjoy a half-day city tour, to visit the iconic Elephant Trunk Hill, discover the mysterious and colorful Reed Flute Cave, with a stop at the Peal Museum, and have a leisure walk to take in the nice views around the Banyan Lake and Cedar Lake.
Day 4 Guilin-Yangshuo (B,L)
After breakfast, head for the Zhujiang Pier (about 40 minutes) to take a boat cruise down the picturesque Li River to Yangshuo County, which is the highlight of any visit to Guilin. Along the river, be inspired by breathtaking views of peaks and pinnacles, crystal-clear water and picturesque pastoral views of rice paddies and water buffaloes. Hotel check-in upon arrival, and then you'll have a leisure countryside tour (by bike or by car, 1-2 hours) and enjoy some leisure time in West Street.
Day 5 Yangshuo-Guilin-Xian (B,L)
This morning, you will be driven back to Guilin (about 1.5-hour drive) and fly to Xian. Upon arrival hotel check-in and have a short rest. Later visit Shaanxi History Museum to taste Xian's rich cultural relics. In the evening, enjoy the night at the Great Tang All Day Mall.
Day 6 Xian (B,L)
Today’s tour begins with Terracotta Warriors. You will inspect the incredible 6,000 life-size terra soldiers & horses and listen to the legends of their master, Emperor Qin Shihuang, who united China for the first time. Then visit the Art Ceramics Factory to view how these amazing statues were created 2,200 years ago. After lunch, tour the Ancient City Walls to see the world’s largest city walls.
Day 7 Xian-Beijing (B,L)
The morning sightseeing will take you to the Great Mosque, one of China’s largest mosques, and the Muslim Street to admire the exotic religious architecture and Muslim culture. Then you will visit the big Wild Goose Pagoda before being escorted to the airport for your flight to Beijing.
Day 8 Beijing (B,L)
On this day you will first visit Tiananmen Square, the largest plaza on earth. Passing through the iconic Tiananmen Gate,then you will enter the splendid Forbidden City, China’s No.1 palace complex famous for its grand royal buildings, exquisite ornaments and priceless treasures.In the afternoon, you will take a pedicab to explore Hutongs, the disappearing ancient alleys of old Beijing, and then ramble about along the Houhai Bar Street.
Day 9 Beijing (B,L)
No Beijing tour is complete without a visit to the Great Wall. Today you will tour the magnificent Great Wall (Mutianyu section), the 8th Wonder of the World. Walking on the venerable ramparts, you will amaze at the unbelievable constructions and appalling landscape that surrounds the Wall.Descending the Great Wall, you will stop by a Jade Gallery and then take a leisure stroll along the Sacred Road, a royal path noted for vivid stone statues and after life stories.
Day 10 Departure from Beijing (B)
After breakfast, you will visit Beijing’s spectacular Temple of Heaven where emperors in ancient times worshiped Heaven for a national good harvest. Here you will also enjoy watching locals doing their special morning exercises.Then you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to your next destination.
