Day 1 Arrive in Shanghai
Upon your arrival at Shanghai, China's most cosmopolitan city, your personal guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax, or step out into this amazing city for an adventure on your own.
Day 2 Shanghai (B,L)
Today visit some of Shanghai's city highlights. Begin with the Shanghai Museum that houses lots of cultural and historical collections. Later, you will walk down the Bund along the Huangpu River and visit the bustling Nanjing Road. Next stop is the Jade Buddha Temple, before getting a bird's eye view of Shanghai from the Jinmao Tower. After that, enjoy some free time at Xintiandi.
Day 3 Shanghai-Suzhou (B,L)
Today you will be met and transferred to Suzhou and have a one-day tour in this beautiful city. You will visit the quiet and famous Lingering Garden and the Pan Gate and cruise on the Grand Canal to see the old houses along the river and special life of local people. Later visit the No.1 Silk Factory to learn how the pure silk products are made from a small cocoon. After that, get back to Shanghai.
Day 4 Shanghai-Guilin (B,L)
Free in the day until your local guide escort you to the airport for your flight to Guilin. Upon your arrival in Guilin, the most scenic city in China, your personal guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax, or step out into this dynamic city for a little adventure on your own.
Day 5 Guilin-Longsheng-Guilin (B,L)
Today's excursion will bring you to Longsheng Autonomous County, where you'll see the magnificent and winding terraced fields, get close to Guilin's minority people and admire their colorful culture. After your tour of this breathtaking area, you will be driven back to Guilin (around 2-hour drive).
Day 6 Guilin-Yangshuo (B,L)
After breakfast, you will be driven to Zhujiang Pier (40-minute drive) to start your boat cruise down the picturesque Li River, which is the highlight of any visit to Guilin, until you get to Yangshuo County. Along the river, you will be inspired by breathtaking views of peaks and pinnacles, crystal-clear water and picturesque pastoral views of rice paddies and water buffaloes. Visitors feel they have stepped into a traditional Chinese painting. After checking into your hotel, you will be free to explore Yangshuo and its famous West Street.
Day 7 Yangshuo-Guilin-Chengdu (B,L)
Today, you will be driven back to Guilin (1.5-hour drive), where you will tour Elephant Trunk Hill, Pearl Museum and the Reed Flute Cave before your guide escorts you to the airport for your flight to Chengdu.Upon arriving in Chengdu, your personal guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel.
Day 8 Chengdu (B,L)
On this day, you will visit the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, followed by a trip to the Wenshu Temple where you can spend some time sitting in its tea house enjoying a cup of traditional Chinese tea and absorb the special atmosphere of Chengdu and Jinli Old Street.
Day 9 Chengdu-Xian (B,L)
You will be free until your local guide escorts you to the airport for your flight to Xian. Upon arrival, your local guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel for check-in. Then you will start to tour Xian starting with the Great Mosque and Muslim Street.
Day 10 Xian (B,L)
You will visit the incredible life-size Terracotta Warriors and the Xian Art Ceramics Factory in the morning. After lunch, you will visit the Ancient City Walls and Small Wild Goose Pagoda, also have a Calligraphy Class inside Small Wild Goose Pagoda.
Day 11 Xian-Beijing (B,L)
After breakfast, your guide will escorts you to the airport for your flight to Beijing. Upon your arrival in Beijing, be met and transferred to the Summer Palace (including a boat cruise). After that, go back to your hotel. Rest of the day is free at leisure.
Day 12 Beijing (B,L)
In the morning, you will first visit the Temple of Heaven to be amazed by the grand and beautiful architecture and may see local people practicing Taichi there. Later visit the iconic Tiananmen Square and the the magnificent Forbidden City. Proceed to explore the ancient Hutongs and walk through the Houhai Bar Street.
Day 13 Beijing (B,L)
Today you will have a full day tour to the amazing Great Wall of Mutianyu section (incl. round trip cable car). And then visit the Chang Tomb and Jade Gallery.
Day 14 Departure from Beijing (B)
You will be free until your guide escorts you to the airport for the flight to your next destination.
