7 Days Panda And Tibet Experience Tour
 

    Day 1  Arrival Chengdu
    Arrival in Chengdu. Met and transferred to your hotel. Free for rest of the day.

    Day 2  Chengdu  (B,L)
    Today’s highlight is Wu Hou Temple, Jinli Street and Du Fu Cottage.
    Wu Hou Temple: Enjoying a history of over 1500 years, Wuhou Temple Museum is a 4-A level Scenic Area and also the country’s most influential ancient ruins in the Three Kindoms Period with the longest history.
    Jinli Street: Jinli Street was in ancient times one of the busiest of commercial boulevards of the Kingdom of Shu, thus known as the "First Street of the Shu Kingdom."
    Du Fu Cottage: The Thatched Cottage of Du Fu is located at the side of the Flower Washing Brook in the western suburbs of Chengdu. Du Fu was one of the greatest poets in the Tang Dynasty. He stayed there for 3 years and composing more than 240 poems.

    Day 3  Chengdu  (B,L)
    Visit Panda Breeding and Research Centre. It is home to giant pandas, the endearing red, or less panda, and other endangered species. Visit the nursery to see the successful breeding programmer and view the pandas at rest and play.


    Day 4  Chengdu - Lhasa  (B)

    Take flight from Chengdu to Lhasa.

    Day  5 Lhasa  (B,L)
    Visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street.
    Potala Palace: Potala Palace is the architectural and religious wonders, former winter home of the Dalai Lama.
    Jokhang Monastery: A 1,300 years old golden-roofted shrine, smaller and more manageable than the Potala.
    Barkhor area: An outdoor market, lined with the stalls, selling all kinds of goods.

    Day 6  Lhasa  (B,L)
    Today’s highlight is a visit to the Sera Monastery, located a few miles to the north of Lhasa. Enjoy a Tibetan Song & Dance Performance after dinner. Then we will pay a visit to the Nobulingka, means "Jeweled Garden", was constructed as a summer palace for the Dalai Lama. In the afternoon, come to the western suburb of Lhasa to visit the extraordinary Drepung Monastery founded in 1416.

    Day 7  Lhasa Exit  (B) 
    Transfer to airport for departure
